There’s no room for error as the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks find themselves with their season on the line against the Clinton Radars.

Jeff Flagler turned aside several Clinton chances early on, while the Winterhawks returned fire on Radars netminder Drew Reinhardt.
Clinton opened the scoring late in the 1st period, as Tyler Doig carried the puck past the Winterhawks defence, feeding the puck out front to Kurtis Bartliff, and he beat Flagler to make it 1-0.
The Radars jumped out to a 3-0 lead in short order in the 2nd period, as Ryan Murphy scored, followed by Cullen Mercer 20 seconds later.
The Winterhawks got on the board at 13:56 of the 2nd, as Trent Hawke found Andy Mitchell alone in front, and he went top shelf on Reinhardt to cut the Clinton lead to 3-1.
A breakaway goal for Doig with 39 seconds left extended the Clinton lead to 4-1 after two periods.
The Winterhakws pushed in the 3rd period, and were able to cut the Clinton lead to 4-2 off a faceoff when Mike Rocca won the draw toward the Clinton net and Jamie Shoemaker popped the puck over top of Reinhardt.
Clinton added an empty netter to make it a 5-2 final, giving the Radars a 3-2 series lead.
