2021/22 Season Prep Update
With one month to go until the home opener, your Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are gearing up for their return to the ice.

The team kicked off training camp on September 7th, with a mix of new and returning faces hitting the ice under the watchful eye of Head Coach Ben Antler.

The 2021/22 schedule is set, and available to view at the bottom of this article. Please note, the schedule section of this website is updated automatically by our webhost in order to ensure compatibility between our scoring software and the website. It will be updated league-wide as soon as possible.

The Winterhawks kick off the regular season on Friday October 8th on the road in Clinton against the Radars, before returning home for the home opener.

The 'Hawks will welcome in the Seaforth Centenaires on Friday October 15th for the home opener, with the puck dropping at 8:30 p.m.

The team as of yet has not received full information regarding capacity and any other COVID-19 protocols. Once relevant information is received, it will be published on this website and our Winterhawks social media channels.

Season tickets will be sold once again this season, with $100 granting you access to all 10 regular season home games PLUS all 2022 playoff home games.

Single game tickets for the regular season will be available for $10 each.

The WOAA Senior Hockey Committee has instituted a policy requiring all participants in the 2021/22 season MUST be fully vaccinated.

This policy extends to players, coaches, on-ice staff, executive and volunteers.

On September 22, 2021, the provincial mandate for vaccination goes into effect, which will include spectators.

Based on this information, fans will be required to provide proof of double-vaccination in order to be granted admission into The Plex and all other WOAA Senior Hockey League games.

The team will provide step-by-step instructions once received.

Please be aware, our front gate is entirely staffed by volunteers who are following policies handed down from the provincial government. Any abuse directed at our volunteers or political grandstanding will not be tolerated.
