The first half of the season was pretty quiet for the Winterhawks, but that's about to change.
Due to being required to reschedule four games, the Winterhawks have played a league-low seven games so far this season as the league reaches the midway point of the schedule.
As a result, they will play 13 games over the final eight weeks of the season.
The busy schedule begins this weekend, with the Winterhawks hooking up with the Creemore Coyotes for a home & home set.
The first game will be at The Plex this Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
The Saugeen Shores Storm U18B girls team will be on hand collecting household items to support the Women's Centre Grey Bruce during the holiday season.

The return bout in the home & home will be Saturday night in Creemore at 7:30 p.m.
The sophomore Coyotes enter the weekend in third place in the league standings with an 8-4-1 record.
